Core Skills & Confidence

Who it’s for: Beginners of all ages—those new to braiding or still developing basic skills.
You’ll Learn:

Hair texture & scalp care basics
Proper detangling and sectioning
Basic parting patterns
Three-strand braids, two-strand twists, beginner cornrows
Beadwork & starter creative styles

Milestone to Advance:
Complete a neat parting system + execute 3 full beginner styles on a mannequin or live model.

Advanced Braiding

& Client-Ready Service

Who it’s for: Braiders actively working or preparing to take on paying clients.
You’ll Learn:

Knotless (all sizes), goddess braids, boho blends
Ombré and color mixing techniques
Speed-building & timing efficiency
Customizing styles to fit face/head shape
Professional setup, service pricing & consultation skills

Milestone to Advance:

Install a waist-length, feed-in, or knotless set in under 4.5 hours with a client-ready finish.

Intermediate Application & Control

Who it’s for: Students comfortable with basics and ready to level up.
You’ll Learn:

Clean, symmetrical cornrows (with/without feed-in)
Introduction to knotless braids
Geometric parting (zig-zag, curve, triangle)
Tension control & scalp protection
Timing and technique balance for client prep

Milestone to Advance:

Successfully install a full-head feed-in or knotless style with consistent parting and clean finish.

Mastery, Mentorship

& Legacy Building

KROWN'D INSTRUCTORS IN TRAINING

Who it’s for: established braiders with a desire to lead, teach, or dominate in the industry.

You’ll Learn:

Teaching braid workshops or courses
Creating signature braid styles
Brand development & personal styling niche
Business scaling (salon or mobile services)
Community mentorship & industry influence

Milestone to Advance:

Train an apprentice OR host a braid class/presentation. Must be evaluated by Krown’d Academy for official Master certification.
